Titration of ADHD medication

Titration is the name of the process from initiation of medication to arriving at an optimal dose.  The duration of titration varies from patient to patient, it can range from a month to many months! It is a very subjective process and my role is to support you through it.  

After taking a full history and being sure it is safe for you to take medication we will discuss the treatment options.  Medication will be prescribed at a low dose and increased if necessary depending on your response.

By the end of titration you will be on the optimal dose of medication where you are receiving maximal benefit and minimal side effects.
